Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Social Worker to join our passionate team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will engage with individuals and families, providing support and resources to promote their well-being. You'll play a crucial part in assessing needs, developing care plans, and connecting clients with necessary services.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate clients' emotional, psychological, and social needs.
  • Create detailed care plans to assist clients in overcoming barriers.
  • Facilitate family meetings to discuss client progress and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with governmental and non-profit agencies to secure resources.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices in intervention and support.
  • Engage in self-care practices to maintain professional effectiveness.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
  • Contribute to program development and evaluation for service improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW)
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in social services
