Architectural Designer

Job Description

As an Architectural Designer in our Pretoria office, you will be tasked with designing innovative and sustainable buildings. Your role will involve understanding client's needs, conceptualizing ideas, and collaborating closely with engineers and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for a variety of architectural projects.
• Prepare detailed construction drawings and documentation.
• Monitor construction progress and provide design support on-site.
• Develop relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
• Provide mentorship to junior designers and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Master's degree in Urban Planning is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in architecture, including project management experience

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• BIM Software

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Strong portfolio showcasing design skills: Demonstrated experience with diverse architectural projects.
