Pharmacist

Job Description

As a Pharmacist at our Johannesburg location, you will engage with patients directly to ensure safe medication practices and promote health initiatives. Your role will involve recommending products, managing prescriptions, and actively participating in our team's mission to provide outstanding health services.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret prescriptions accurately.
• Provide consultations to patients regarding medication therapy.
• Monitor patient medication profiles for safety and efficacy.
• Assist with medication therapy management services.
• Conduct medication reviews and assessments.
• Educate patients about potential side effects and interactions.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Support pharmacists and other healthcare team members in daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Participate in professional development and continuing education.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience as a pharmacist, preferably in a retail environment.
