• Evaluate patients’ medical histories and current health.
• Formulate and implement treatment plans.
• Advise patients on living a healthy lifestyle.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Collaborate with nursing staff for patient care.
• Participate in medical conferences and training.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and standards.
• Lead educational workshops for patients and community members.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Fellowship in Family Medicine is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years in a general practice setting

Certifications

• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
