Clinical Research Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to oversee and manage clinical trials in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will liaise between sponsor and site, ensuring compliance with protocols and regulatory requirements while supporting our dedicated team in enhancing healthcare research.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the clinical trial process from initiation to completion.
• Liaise with healthcare practitioners to ensure patient safety and data integrity.
• Prepare and submit necessary regulatory documents in a timely manner.
• Conduct site visits and monitor compliance with study protocols.
• Facilitate recruitment and informed consent processes for study participants.
• Manage and resolve any issues or deviations during the study.
• Coordinate meetings with the research team to discuss study progress.
• Prepare reports on study outcomes and communicate with sponsors.
• Ensure all aspects of the trial are conducted ethically and effectively.
• Assist with budget management and resource allocation for trials.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Public Health or related field

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in clinical research coordination

Technical Skills

• Regulatory knowledge

Certifications

• Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
