We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of engineering projects. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead design reviews and technical discussions.
• Maintain quality standards throughout the engineering process.
• Facilitate training for junior engineers and interns.
• Work closely with suppliers to source materials and components.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies for projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a related mechanical engineering role

Certifications

• Certified Mechanical Engineer (CME)

Languages

• English: Fluent
