Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Pretoria office. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, experience in threat analysis, and the ability to implement security protocols to protect sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Train employees on security protocols and practices.
• Maintain and update security tools and technologies.
• Review reports of security breaches and recommend solutions.
• Coordinate with external vendors for cybersecurity services.
• Prepare incident reports for management review.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in information security

Certifications

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of malware analysis: Understanding of malware types and analysis methodologies.
