Job Description

As an Actuary, you will utilize your expertise in mathematics, statistics, and financial theory to advise on risk management and financial planning. You will analyze past data and trends to predict future risks and develop strategies to minimize that risk, playing a crucial role in our decision-making process.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance claims data to develop strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Create pricing models for new insurance products and assess their market viability.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather information necessary for actuarial assessments.
• Participate in team brainstorming sessions to generate innovative product solutions.
• Contribute to strategic planning efforts and financial forecasting with actuarial insights.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
• Master's degree in Actuarial Science or related field is preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of relevant actuarial experience, preferably in insurance

Certifications

• Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
