Job Description

As part of our nursing team, you will be engaged in various aspects of patient care, including conducting assessments and implementing treatment plans. You will work collaboratively with doctors and other health professionals to ensure patients receive the highest quality of care. If you are dedicated and detail-oriented, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient comfort and safety at all times.
• Review and evaluate nursing plans and modify as required.
• Conduct health education seminars for patients and families.
• Advocate for patient needs and preferences.
• Handle medical equipment and ensure proper sterilization.
• Collect samples for laboratory testing and analysis.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and integrity in patient care.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or equivalent)
• Specialization in Critical Care or similar field preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a critical care setting.

Certifications

• Registered Nurse License
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in Trauma Nursing: Certification in trauma nursing is a plus.
• Bilingual in Afrikaans and English: Ability to communicate effectively in Afrikaans and English.
