Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and support.
• Keep up-to-date with pharmaceutical research and developments.
• Assist in the resolution of patient queries and concerns.
• Support health promotion and disease prevention initiatives.
• Ensure proper documentation of controlled substances.
• Participate in medication therapy management.
• Lead initiatives to enhance patient safety.
• Advocate for patient needs within the healthcare team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Advanced diploma in Pharmacy or related field is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in pharmacy and patient care

Technical Skills

• Clinical Pharmacology
• Regulatory Compliance

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Empathy

Certifications

• Additional clinical certifications are a plus.

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Ability to speak multiple languages: Multilingual skills to better serve diverse populations.
• Experience in community pharmacy settings: Background in working with community-based pharmacy operations.
