IT Support Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician who is passionate about delivering excellent technical support to our clients. The ideal candidate will have expertise in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients’ IT systems operate smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support to customers via phone, email, and in-person.
• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and related IT equipment.
• Assist in the management of IT inventory.
• Document issues and resolutions in internal knowledge base.
• Ensure that end-users are educated on IT protocols and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Certification in IT Support (e.g., CompTIA A+)

Experience

• 2+ years of practical experience in an IT support role

Technical Skills

• Mac OS
• Help Desk Software

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure): Knowledge of cloud computing services to aid in troubleshooting.
• Experience with VoIP systems: Experience with voice over IP systems and configuration.
