Job Description

As a Tax Consultant in our Port Elizabeth office, you will play a crucial role in advising clients on tax-related issues. You will be responsible for analyzing financial documents, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of tax laws and the ability to provide strategic tax planning advice.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and submit accurate tax returns within deadlines.
  • Advise on potential tax effects from business decisions.
  • Represent clients during tax audits or disputes.
  • Analyze changes in tax legislation and assess their implications for clients.
  • Work with financial institutions to resolve tax issues.
  • Prepare presentations for client seminars on tax knowledge.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during tax-related reviews.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field
  • Master's in Taxation is a plus
Experience
  • 4+ years of experiences in a tax consultancy role
