Fence Erector

Job Description

The Fence Erector will be responsible for constructing and installing a variety of fences, ensuring they meet client specifications and are built to last. This role requires a strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess site conditions and ensure accurate measurements.
• Install fencing, ensuring all installations are secure and precise.
• Repair or replace damaged fencing as required.
• Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
• Follow all safety guidelines to minimize on-site hazards.
• Collaborate with supervisors to meet project deadlines.
• Participate in regular training sessions on new materials and techniques.
• Assist in maintaining the inventory of tools and materials.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Relevant qualifications in construction or a related field are a plus

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in the fencing industry.
