Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager to oversee our projects in Pretoria. This role is critical for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will be responsible for managing teams, liaising with contractors, and ensuring all aspects of the construction process run smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Lead project meetings and prepare minutes to ensure stakeholders are updated.
• Evaluate bids and proposals from contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines.
• Manage subcontractor performance to maintain project standards.
• Develop schedules using project management software.
• Execute and uphold quality control procedures.
• Handle disputes or conflicts that arise on site expediently.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures.
• Oversee the financial performance of projects, tracking project costs.
• Maintain detailed project documentation throughout the lifecycle.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management
• Professional certifications in construction management are preferable

Experience

• 5+ years in managing construction projects
