Job Description

The Extraction Worker, also known as a Sand Digger, operates heavy machinery to excavate and transport sand at construction and mining sites. This role requires adherence to safety protocols while ensuring efficient operation of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently operate and maintain heavy machinery in the excavation of sand.
• Ensure loading of sand into trucks complies with safety regulations.
• Implement safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Perform periodic inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Work closely with supervisors and other team members to achieve project goals.
• Document daily operations, including quantities of sand moved and machine checks.
• Notify the Site Manager of any incidents or discrepancies on site.
• Comply with environmental regulations to minimize ecological impact.
