Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Pretoria team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing cybersecurity measures to protect our organization from cyber threats. You will work closely with various departments to ensure security protocols are up to date and adhered to.

Responsibilities

• Assess and review the effectiveness of security controls.
• Design and develop security architectures for various initiatives.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
• Manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security tools.
• Document security incidents and responses for compliance.
• Liaise with external security partners and vendors for tools and services.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles
