Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer with our company, you will work on the development of advanced mechanical systems. This role requires a thorough understanding of engineering principles and the ability to integrate new technologies into existing systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design projects from concept to completion.
• Analyze performance data and optimize designs for efficiency.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to implement designs.
• Ensure all designs meet safety and quality standards.
• Develop prototypes and conduct performance testing.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables effectively.
• Collaborate with suppliers to source materials and components.
• Support the development of engineering standards and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Project Management Software

• Leadership
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of materials science: Strong understanding of materials properties and applications.
• Experience with CAD software: Knowledge of CAD tools beyond SolidWorks for diverse design tasks.
