Job Description

We are looking for a passionate General Practitioner to join our rapidly growing team in Durban. This role involves providing high-quality health assessments, medical treatments, and patient education to improve health outcomes in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and examinations.
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions.
  • Develop treatment plans and ensure effective follow-up.
  • Administer vaccinations and preventative care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
  • Educate patients about health, wellness, and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
  • Stay updated with the latest medical practices and guidelines.
  • Participate in community education and health promotion programs.
  • Handle referrals to specialists when necessary.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent medical qualification
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a General Practitioner
