Responsibilities

• Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians.
• Conduct physical exams and evaluate patient needs.
• Prepare patients for medical procedures and assist during them.
• Manage wound care, including dressing changes and assessments.
• Observe and report on patients’ reactions to medications and treatments.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals for holistic patient care.
• Promote health education and disease prevention among patients.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the nursing environment.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in nursing or a related field

Technical Skills

• Patient monitoring

Certifications

• BLS Certification

Languages

• Afrikaans: Conversational
• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Afrikaans.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR): Proficient use of EHR systems for patient documentation.
