Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our collaborative healthcare team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will focus on helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions. You will work closely with patients to assess their needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and monitor progress over time.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' needs and develop targeted treatment plans.
  • Facilitate therapeutic activities to enhance patients' ability to perform daily tasks.
  • Utilize assistive devices and adaptive equipment as needed.
  • Regularly review and update patient care plans based on progress.
  • Provide support to families in understanding and managing patient needs.
  • Lead workshops and training sessions for community awareness.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to leverage additional support for patients.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Master's degree in a health-related field is advantageous

  • 3+ years of experience in clinical settings
