We are on the lookout for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal health and welfare, providing high-quality veterinary care, and educating pet owners on their pets' well-being.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine health checks and emergency care.
• Analyze diagnostic data and formulate suitable treatment plans.
• Advise on nutritional and behavioral matters for pet health.
• Foster a positive client experience by providing compassionate care.
• Assist in training new staff and interns on veterinary procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Postgraduate diploma in Veterinary Surgery is a plus.

Experience

• 3-5 years of veterinary experience, preferably in a busy clinic

• Anesthesia Management

Certifications

• Certification in Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (VECCS)
• Fear Free Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Research experience in veterinary science: Background in clinical research or studies published in veterinary journals.
