Job Description

We are looking for a Retail Manager in Durban who will be responsible for overseeing store operations, driving sales performance, and ensuring outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for retail management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall store operations, focusing on sales performance and customer service.
  • Implement best practices in inventory management and stock control.
  • Drive team performance through effective coaching and performance management.
  • Create and execute initiatives to improve store profitability.
  • Maintain knowledge of customer trends and industry best practices.
  • Work closely with regional management to align on business strategies.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals and expectations.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure product availability and quality.
  • Engage with the community to enhance brand visibility and customer loyalty.
  • Provide feedback to upper management regarding store operations and team performance.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Retail Management or a related field
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in retail management
