Job Description

As an Insurance Underwriter, you will play a crucial role in risk assessment and policy development. We are looking for someone with a comprehensive understanding of underwriting principles and experience in the insurance industry to provide tailored solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular reviews of underwriting processes to improve efficiency.
• Provide training and guidance to junior underwriters.
• Collaborate with claims department to understand risk exposure.
• Work closely with actuaries to develop pricing models.
• Participate in policy reviews and strategic planning sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in underwriting roles

Certifications

• CII Level 4 Certificate in Insurance

Languages

• English: Fluent
