Job Description

As a Clinical Research Associate at our Durban location, you will play a key role in executing clinical trials, monitoring patient safety, and ensuring data integrity. Your expertise in clinical research methodologies will help guide the study from inception to completion while collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned clinical trials.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance measures within study protocols.
• Conduct monitoring visits and ensure data collection aligns with study objectives.
• Assist in writing and reviewing study protocols and informed consent documents.
• Address queries and concerns from study participants with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Coordinate with data management teams to ensure accurate data entry and reporting.
• Support the development of training materials for study staff.
• Facilitate the onboarding of new sites and investigators into clinical trials.
• Engage in troubleshooting and resolving logistics related to trial management.
• Keep meticulous records of study-related activities, ensuring transparency and compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Biomedical Sciences
• Master's degree in a related field is advantageous

Experience

• 3-6 years of clinical research experience preferred.
