Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients, ensuring high-quality medical care and support. You will play a key role in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, while also promoting preventive care within the community.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient health through interviews and examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to aid in patient diagnosis.
• Create treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with best practices.
• Assist in the training of junior medical staff and interns.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Additional qualifications in public health is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of practice in a primary care setting

Technical Skills

• Health assessments
• Emergency care procedures

Soft Skills

• Stress management
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
