Job Description

The Foundry Helper will play an essential role in assisting the foundry team with the production of top-tier castings. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, an ability to work collaboratively, and a commitment to safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Help in the setup and teardown of foundry equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to ensure safety.
• Assist in monitoring the casting process for quality assurance.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and safety.
• Encourage adherence to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or foundry environment is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Manual Dexterity
• Forklift Operation

Certifications

• Forklift license (advantageous)
• Health and Safety training certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
