Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Tester to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing tests to ensure the quality of our software products. Your keen eye for detail and deep understanding of testing methodologies will help us deliver reliable and efficient solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.
• Analyze testing results and provide feedback to the development team.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover potential software issues.
• Work with DevOps to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Document test processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of software testing trends and best practices.
• Support the training of junior testers and onboarding of new team members.
• Actively contribute to team meetings and collaborative projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on functional and regression testing.

Technical Skills

• Automated Testing Frameworks

Certifications

• Certified Agile Tester (CAT)

Languages

• English: Fluent
