Job Description

The Winder Fixer will be responsible for repairing and maintaining winding machinery in a manufacturing environment. This role requires a skilled technician with experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed troubleshooting on machinery malfunctions.
• Support the development of maintenance protocols and procedures.
• Enhance machine performance through technical modifications.
• Act as a liaison between the production and maintenance departments.
• Regularly review and update maintenance records.
• Ensure all work meets quality and regulatory standards.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools.
• Assist in budget planning for the maintenance department.
• Evaluate new technologies that could improve equipment performance.
• Engage in team discussions to foster a culture of safety and improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Trade Certification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Matric Certificate

Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
