Job Description

We are on the lookout for a passionate Veterinary Technician to join our team in Durban. In this role, you will assist veterinarians in providing top-notch care to animals, including routine examinations, vaccinations, and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare animals for examinations and surgical procedures.
• Monitor anesthesia and surgical recovery for pets.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and assist in diagnostics.
• Assist in client management and appointment scheduling.
• Participate in continuing education and training.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or Veterinary Technology

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in veterinary practice

Certifications

• Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (VECCS) certification
