Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Nurse Practitioner to join our flourishing healthcare team in Johannesburg. In this role, you'll provide exceptional care to our patients, assist in diagnosis and treatment, and help foster a safe and collaborative environment in our facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical assessments and direct patient treatment paths.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
• Manage acute and chronic health conditions and follow up on patient progress.
• Conduct patient education sessions to enhance health literacy.
• Assist in the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Master's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner

Technical Skills

• Medical terminology

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

• Specialization in pediatrics or geriatrics: Advanced knowledge and experience in caring for pediatric or elderly populations.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population.
