Responsibilities

• Utilize architectural design software to create accurate drawings and models.
• Facilitate workshops and design charrettes with stakeholders to gather input.
• Implement client feedback promptly into design revisions.
• Analyze site conditions and environmental impacts when developing designs.
• Maintain effective communication with clients throughout all project stages.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Review and approve project documentation and reports.
• Develop design concepts that emphasize functionality and aesthetic appeal.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent experience
• Master's degree in Architecture is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of architectural design experience, including project management

Technical Skills

• BIM Software Proficiency
• Graphic Design Software

Soft Skills

• Project Management
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (optional)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Fluency in Afrikaans or other South African languages: Ability to communicate with a diverse client base.
• Experience in public space design: Background in designing community-oriented spaces.
