UX Researcher

Job Description

We are seeking a UX Researcher to join our creative team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will conduct user research, analyze user needs, and translate findings into actionable insights. You will play a vital role in shaping the user experience across our products.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive research plans that address business and user needs.
• Synthesize data from multiple sources to inform product decisions.
• Actively participate in product design reviews to advocate for users.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UX research.
• Foster a user-centered culture within the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in User Experience, Human Factors, or related field
• Master's degree in Design or related field is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design or research

Technical Skills

• Qualitative Research
• Survey Design

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Presentation Skills

Certifications

• UX Certification from Nielsen Norman Group
• Design Thinking Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe XD: Ability to create prototypes and wireframes using design tools.
• Familiarity with Agile Methodologies: Experience working within Agile teams to produce user-centered designs.
