Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Social Worker to provide support and counseling to individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS. You'll work closely with healthcare teams to offer holistic care and ensure that all needs are met.

Responsibilities

• Deliver counselling services to clients, ensuring supportive and empathetic interactions.
• Create educational materials to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS in the community.
• Collaborate with social workers and healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes.
• Assist clients in navigating public health resources and insurance.
• Engage with families to promote understanding and care for loved ones.
• Identify patients in crisis and provide immediate support and intervention.
• Collect and analyze data for reporting purposes and program improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant postgraduate qualification preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in social work specifically dealing with HIV/AIDS clients
