Environmental Scientist

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Environmental Scientist to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have expertise in environmental assessments, data analysis, and project management. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to develop strategies for sustainable development and compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform fieldwork to assess environmental conditions and impacts.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to enhance project outcomes.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on environmental best practices.
• Research innovative solutions to environmental challenges both locally and globally.
• Document project processes and update stakeholders on progress.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or a related field
• Master's degree is preferable

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in environmental science or a related field
