Job Description

The Chief Sustainability Officer will develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies and initiatives. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that sustainability is integrated into all aspects of the organization, with a focus on driving positive environmental impact.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the sustainability strategy and its alignment with corporate goals.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments related to sustainability.
• Foster a culture of sustainability within the organization.
• Engage with external stakeholders, including government bodies and NGOs.
• Prepare sustainability reports and presentations for the executive team.
• Guide and mentor sustainability analysts and team members.
• Coordinate sustainability training and workshops for staff.
• Advocate for innovative and cost-effective sustainability solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Sustainability or related field is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience leading sustainability initiatives
