We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our compassionate team in Durban. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of animal health issues while providing excellent client care and compassion to pet owners.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic tests and analyze results to determine the best course of action.
• Perform surgery when necessary and provide post-operative care.
• Advise on vaccination protocols and preventive health measures.
• Foster relationships with clients through effective communication and empathy.
• Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
• Engage in collaborative veterinary practices to enhance patient care.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Requirements

Education

• DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine)
• Certification in Animal Surgery is advantageous.

Experience

• 5+ years in small animal practice
