Job Description

As a Parachute Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of parachutes used in skydiving operations. Your responsibilities will include inspecting, packing, and maintaining parachutes to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of parachutes, ensuring readiness for use.
• Accurately fold and pack parachutes to prevent malfunctions.
• Maintain a tidy work area to promote safety.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Document all parachute packing activities systematically.
• Engage in teamwork and effective communication with instructors and pilots.
• Attend training sessions to improve skills and compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
• Perform quality checks on packed parachutes before deployment.
• Help with logistical support during skydiving operations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in parachuting or aviation is advantageous

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in parachute packing or an aviation-related field is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Experience with parachute packing tools
• Knowledge of parachute safety standards

Certifications

• Aviation Safety Training Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
