Job Description

Looking for a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in providing medical care to a variety of animal species, including diagnostics, treatments, and preventive care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consultations and provide excellent client service.
• Stay updated on veterinary practices and treatments through continuous education.
• Contribute to the development of veterinary protocols and procedures.
• Engage with clients to understand their pet's needs and concerns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science
• Further specialization in a specific area is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of veterinary experience, with exposure to surgical procedures a plus.

Certifications

• Postgraduate diploma in Veterinary Surgery
• Membership of the South African Veterinary Association (SAVA)

• Leadership experience in a veterinary setting: Experience in mentoring or leading a team is a plus.
