Job Description

The Inspecting Supervisor will lead a team of inspectors to ensure that products adhere to established quality standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to implement efficient inspection processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead inspections and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Provide mentorship to inspectors, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Analyze inspection data and prepare reports for upper management.
• Engage with production and engineering teams to resolve quality-related concerns.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with established procedures.
• Facilitate training sessions for continuous staff development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role within quality control.

Technical Skills

• Lean Manufacturing knowledge
• Problem-solving skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Certification in Six Sigma: Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies can be beneficial.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both languages is a plus.
