Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Molding, Coremaking, and Casting Machine Setter to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with casting processes and will be responsible for preparing molds, setting up casting machines, and ensuring product quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain casting machines.
• Inspect molded products for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production flow.
• Conduct regular equipment checks to prevent failures.
• Train junior operators on best practices for casting operations.
• Assist in troubleshooting machine malfunctions.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Trade certificate in casting or related field

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years experience in casting operations
