Job Description

As a Hospital Doctor in our Cape Town hospital, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient health. You will coordinate care with nursing staff and specialists to ensure comprehensive treatment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments to determine patient needs.
• Manage acute and chronic illnesses in an inpatient setting.
• Collaborate with specialists to provide well-rounded care.
• Conduct routine follow-ups and manage ongoing treatment protocols.
• Maintain high standards of patient hygiene and safety.
• Participate actively in emergency response situations.
• Facilitate family meetings to discuss treatment options and prognosis.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a hospital setting
