UX Designer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled UX Designer to join our innovative team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for details and a passion for creating seamless user experiences. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to craft engaging and intuitive designs that meet user needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead design sprints and collaborative ideation sessions.
• Analyze competitor products to identify strengths and weaknesses.
• Integrate feedback from both users and team members to refine designs.
• Ensure accessibility standards are met in all design outputs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
• Master's degree in Design is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of UX/UI design experience

Technical Skills

• Prototyping Tools (InVision, Marvel)
• User Testing Techniques

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Adaptability

Certifications

• UX Design Professional Certificate
• User Experience Expert (UXE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with mobile app design: Experience designing applications for mobile devices and touch interfaces.
• Familiarity with design systems: Knowledge of creating and maintaining design systems for consistency.
