As a Data Systems Analyst, you will be pivotal in analysing and improving data management processes within the organization. Your role is to ensure that data systems meet the needs of various departments while also complying with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical background, enabling them to drive data-driven decisions and enhance business operations.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather data requirements.
• Maintain documentation for data systems and processes.
• Engage in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues.
• Develop and disseminate data quality metrics and standards.
• Collaborate with vendors for data system enhancements.
• Create dashboards and visualizations for data reporting.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analysis, Information Systems, or a related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Data Science, Data Management)

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in data systems or analytics

Technical Skills

• Python or R
• NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)

Certifications

• Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Intermediate
