Job Description

We are looking for a Labor Relations Specialist who will play a crucial role in managing and resolving labor-related issues within our organization. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with labor laws while promoting a positive work environment. If you are passionate about employee relations and possess a strong understanding of labor legislation, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee collective bargaining processes and contract negotiations.
  • Provide support in the administration of employee benefits and compensation.
  • Monitor changes in labor legislation and adapt policies accordingly.
  • Conduct training sessions on labor relations and compliance for staff.
  • Serve as a liaison between employees and management regarding labor issues.
  • Assist in the development of employee engagement initiatives.
  • Participate in HR projects to enhance employee relations and workplace culture.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Psychology
  • Honours or Master's degree in Labour Relations is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in labour relations or workforce management
