Job Description

We are in search of an AI Research Scientist to join our dynamic team in Stellenbosch. You will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research in artificial intelligence and machine learning, focusing on developing innovative algorithms and models to solve complex real-world problems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, machine learning techniques, and be proficient in programming languages such as Python or R.

Responsibilities

• Research emerging AI technologies and their applications.
• Design experiments to validate AI models.
• Document research processes and results in detail.
• Collaborate with product teams to inform product development with research.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in AI, Computer Science, or related discipline
• PhD in relevant field is highly advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years in AI research with a focus on practical applications

Technical Skills

• Deep Learning Frameworks
• Natural Language Processing (NLP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
