Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Logistics Coordinator to manage our supply chain operations in Durban. You will be responsible for coordinating shipments, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement logistics strategies to ensure efficient operations.
• Conduct regular assessments of logistics processes to enhance service delivery.
• Create and manage logistics budgets and report on financial performance.
• Collaborate with the sales team to forecast product demand.
• Train and mentor junior staff on logistics practices and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in logistics management or supply chain operations

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS): Experience using TMS platforms for logistics management.
• Knowledge of Import/Export Regulations: Understanding of regulations affecting logistics and supply chains in South Africa.
