Job Description

We are seeking a Chartered Accountant to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices, be detail-oriented, and proficient in financial reporting. Your role will be crucial in ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial accounting operations.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and reports.
• Conduct financial analysis and variance reporting.
• Support financial audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Coordinate with external auditors for year-end financial audits.
• Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Participate in financial planning and strategy meetings.
• Assist in preparation of the annual report.
• Ensure effective cash flow management and forecasting.
• Identify and implement improvements in accounting systems and processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Master's degree in Finance is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in a corporate finance role
