Job Description

As a Community Health Worker, you will be responsible for educating and supporting individuals in various communities to improve their health outcomes. Your role will involve working closely with healthcare professionals and community groups to develop tailored health promotion strategies.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops and seminars to educate the community about health issues.
• Gather and analyse health data to inform community health strategies.
• Advocate for health services and resources for community members.
• Assist individuals with accessing healthcare services and resources.
• Create partnerships with local organisations to enhance health service delivery.
• Participate in community events to promote health education and awareness.
• Identify and prepare reports on community health needs and program outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or a related field
• Master's degree in Public Health is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in community outreach or health advocacy
