QA Engineer

Job Description

As a QA Engineer at QualityTech, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of our software products. You will design and implement test cases, automate testing processes, and collaborate with developers to resolve bugs and enhance product quality. We're looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering the best user experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and create testing strategies based on project specifications.
• Utilize QA testing tools to manage and execute tests efficiently.
• Manage individual test schedules and ensure timely execution.
• Play an active role in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Foster communication between project stakeholders regarding quality issues.
• Help to establish best practices for software testing within the team.
• Monitor and report on strategies for continuous improvement in QA processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Certification in Software Testing (ISTQB) is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in QA testing

Technical Skills

• Selenium
• API Testing
• JIRA

Certifications

• ISTQB Certified Tester

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies: Experience in Agile environments will be an advantage.
