Job Description

HealthFirst Medical Solutions is looking for a dedicated Nurse to enhance our team. In this role, you will provide nursing care to patients, monitor their health, and assist in treatment plans. We are looking for someone who is empathetic, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Coordinate patient care with other healthcare providers.
• Educate patients on health maintenance practices.
• Assess and document patient conditions accurately.
• Keep up-to-date with healthcare trends and changes.
• Support the healthcare team in research and quality improvement initiatives.
• Attend continuing education programs to enhance nursing skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all patient interactions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Specialization in critical care or geriatrics preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a specialized nursing role

• Clinical Assessment

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

• Familiar with electronic health records (EHR) systems: Experience using technology in patient care documentation.
• Leadership experience in nursing: Past experience in a leadership role within a nursing team.
